Our firm is made up of talented individuals who are dedicated to the pursuit of architecture. They are passionate about design, committed to thorough project management, and appreciate an attention to detail.
We value the collective experience of our people and recognize how much they contribute to helping our clients realize their architectural dreams and aspirations.
Brooks Walker AIA, LEED AP, Principal/Owner
Brooks was exposed to interesting architecture at an early age, by visiting family relatives with homes commissioned by William Wurster, Joseph Esherick and Frank Lloyd Wright. After receiving a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon, he worked for six years with his uncle, Sandy Walker, a notable Bay Area architect. Brooks also spent a couple of years as a sole practitioner, expanding his architectural experience to include construction and real estate development.
In 1989, Brooks co-founded Walker Warner Architects and focused on custom residential design. While the work of the firm continues to evolve, the architecture is always inspired by an effort to design buildings that are site responsive and contextually appropriate.
Brooks is a native San Franciscan resident. He spends most of his free time with his family, including three children, enjoying outdoor pursuits such as fly-fishing and skiing. He is also involved with the local community and the Ploughshares Fund.
Greg Warner AIA, LEED AP, Principal/Owner
Greg's interest in contextually appropriate design was greatly influenced during his years raised in the Hawaiian Islands and further developed while attending the University of Oregon where he graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1983. Greg spent several years working for various bay area firms where he gained experience in residential and commercial design. Greg co-founded Walker Warner Architects in 1989 and has had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects.
In the year 2000, Walker Warner Architects won a competition to design a winery for the Quintessa Estate where Greg served as the principal-in-charge. Since the completion of Quintessa in 2003, the firm has been working on the design of several new winery estate projects.
Greg resides in Lafayette, California with his wife and two children. He continues his love and interest for the outdoors with pursuits ranging from fly-fishing to participating in triathlons.
