Nestled into the foothills of Marin County, the design of this family ranch draws inspiration from the agrarian structures of the area. The courtyard between the main house, garage, and office tower is framed by a breezeway that links the building elements, while providing protection from the sun and the afternoon winds. The use of exposed joists and wood ceilings in the porches, living room, office tower, and breezeway, serve as a unifying element in the overall design.
